8/1/2023 0 Comments Best colleges music productionCampus always has a lot of events going on all the time. If you're an incoming freshman, I recommend you try and live in Smith/Simmons hall. Dorm life is a great way to make connections. Every Professor I've had thus far has prayed for us before we take an exam, this helped me feel less stressed. Professors remind us on the regular that they're available during their office hours and are even willing to make themselves available for us whenever we had questions. The professors here generally care for their students and show teaching is their passion. This couldn't be further from the truth regarding CBU. Junior: All throughout high school my teachers would try to hammer this perception that in college, I would be truly independent and nothing more than a number in a classroom. The buildings on the campus were all very close to each other. To conclude, the close parts and small amount of students allowed me to participate in classes that held a relatively small amount of students. I was always in a good mood due to the fact that I could order whatever I wanted, practically whenever I wanted. There was always a large amount of areas we can eat from, as well as many outside areas we could use our GrubHub Bucks on. One of my favorite parts of Stevens was the dining experience. In this campus, I constantly have a view of New York, and I love visiting there all of the time with my friends. To add on, I love the increased proximity to the city compared to where I reside at home. I was first introduced to this college through my friends and family and fell in love with it at first sight! Everyone there was proactive and engaged!. Lastly, the Brown community was incredibly welcoming and supportive. I love how interconnected the university is with the larger city of Providence, which makes both professional and recreational engagement more accessible. These helped me foster a strong sense of community as I was able to connect with peers of similar likes during these events. Outside the classroom, there were countless facilities and events that covered a wide variety of interests. They provide insightful feedback and support, especially as I had little experience doing lab work in high school. The campus has amazing faculty that are engaged in the subject, both in and out of the classroom. Overall, the academic resources and opportunities to explore STEM-based passions are incredibly diverse and accessible.
